Initiating a Payout (Transfer Out)
Overview
Initiating a payout transfers funds from your LiquidTrust Balance to your external bank account.
When You Would Use This
Use this when you have funds in your LiquidTrust Balance and want to transfer them to your bank account.
How It Works
You can initiate a payout from multiple places:
- The Initiate Payout button on a transaction with an "Available for Payout" status
- The Withdraw button in Settings > Payment Accounts > LiquidTrust Balances
This opens the Transfer Out modal.
Steps
- Click Initiate Payout or Withdraw to open the Transfer Out modal.
- Enter the amount you want to transfer. The available balance is shown.
- Select a destination bank account, or click Add New to add one.
- Review the transfer quote, which includes:
- Transfer method (ACH, USD Wire, or International Wire)
- Estimated arrival time
- Transfer fee
- Exchange rate (if the destination account is non-USD)
- The amount you will receive
- Click Initiate Payout to confirm.
What Happens Next
The transfer will be processed via the method shown in the quote. ACH transfers typically arrive within 1–2 business days. Wire transfers may vary.
Notes
- The minimum payout amount is $20 USD.
- Transfer fees and estimated arrival depend on the payout method and destination.
